BackgroundLate-preterm infants show lower breastfeeding rates when compared with term infants. Current practice is to keep them in low-risk wards where clinical guidelines to support breastfeeding are well established for term infants but can be insufficient for late-preterm.ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to evaluate an intervention supporting breastfeeding among late-preterm infants in a maternity service in the Basque Country, Spain.MethodsThe intervention was designed to promote parents’ education and involvement, provide a multidisciplinary approach and decision-making, and avoid separation of the mother-infant dyad. A quasi-experimental study was conducted with a control (n = 212) and an intervention group (n = 161). Data was collected from clinical records from November 2012 to January 2015. Feeding rate at discharge, breast-pump use, incidence of morbidities, infant weight loss and hospital stay length were compared between the two groups.ResultsInfants in the control group were 50.7% exclusive breastfeeding, 37.8% breastfeeding, and, 11.5% formula feeding at discharge, whereas in the intervention group, frequencies were 68.4%, 25.9%, and 5.7%, respectively (p = 0.002). Mothers in the intervention group were 2.66 times more likely to use the breast-pump after almost all or all feeds and 2.09 times more likely to exclusively breastfeed at discharge. There were no significant differences in morbidities and infant weight loss between groups. Hospital stay was longer for infants who required phototherapy in the intervention group (p = 0.009).ConclusionThe intervention resulted in a higher breastfeeding rate at discharge. Interventions aimed to provide specific support among late-pretem infants in maternity services are effective.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Despite decades of equity- and inclusion-oriented discourse and reform in mathematics education, Black learners in the U.S. continue to experience dehumanizing and violent forms of mathematics education. I suggest that equity for Black learners in mathematics education is a delusion rooted in the fictions of white imaginaries, contingent on appeasing white logics and sensitivities, and characterized at best by incremental changes that do little to threaten the maintenance of racial hierarchies inside or outside of mathematics education. Moreover, the forms of inclusion offered up in equity-oriented discourses and reforms represent contexts of containment and enclosure that keep Black people in their same relative position. Refusal is suggested as a strategy for Black learners to resist the anti-Black character of mathematics education, and as a first step in actualizing forms of mathematics education that are worthy of Black learners.  相似文献

利他行为一直伴随着人类的历史,同时企业的成长过程也是一个不断学习的过程,因此建立基于利他偏好的学习博弈模型更加符合企业的需要,然而目前尚未见此研究.考虑了利他偏好之后,用效用函数取代直接收益,建立了改进的EWA学习模型,确定各参数的取值方法,给出了初始魅力值计算公式.设计了二级供应链情景下的实验,通过实验获得了数据.采用Matlab软件统计分析后发现:与基本EWA模型相比,考虑了利他偏好之后,实验者的策略选择更快地收敛,说明考虑利他偏好后EWA学习模型的学习效果更好.另外,社会距离越小,实验者的策略选择也越快地收敛,说明社会距离对策略的选择有显著影响,企业应该注重培养战略伙伴关系,降低社会距离,形成长期的合作关系.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This article analyzes the role of STEM initiatives designed by city and corporate elites in a large urban district and outlines an alternative, grassroots vision for (STEM) education and city schools. Within a neoliberal context of gentrification, displacement, disinvestment, and privatization, STEM schools have become strategic components of Chicago’s ‘portfolio district’ that serve the interests of racial capitalism in three ways. First, STEM schools provide a claim to fairness in the midst of racist school closures. Second, STEM high schools are a corporate strategy for racially stratified labor force preparation that restricts curriculum and reifies tracking. Third, curriculum restriction prioritizes corporate interests over students’ capacity to shape their communities and the world. The authors draw on the wisdom of Chicago communities who have led resistance against corporate education reform to critique Chicago STEM policy and point to critical mathematics and science education as part of a model for sustainable community schools.  相似文献

将农户的农业生产经营分为9个环节,基于农业生产环节交易特性与农户行为能力两个层面,测度农业生产环节进行服务外包的影响因子。农业生产环节的交易特性细分为专用性、规模性与风险性3个维度,农户行为能力则由排他能力、处置能力和交易能力3个维度表达。基于专家问卷,借助模糊数学和层次分析方法,对影响因子的权重进行定量评估。结果显示,同样的影响因素在不同的农业生产环节中表现出不同的特征,不同的影响因素在同一个农业生产环节中表现出的特征也有所差异。  相似文献

母方言语调对英语语调的学习具有负迁移作用。通过对关中方言背景英语学习者的英语语调采录与分析,发现这些学习者的英语语调偏误与其母方言语调明显相关,表现为音长过长、轻重不分、调域偏窄等。因此,在强化连读式、弱读式、变读式等语流音变意识以的同时,克服以双音节为标准节奏来缩短音长;克服重音节拍受音节节拍的影响来区分轻重;以及克服语调结构和类型不受声调局限来扩宽调域,是学习者纠正语调偏误的主要策略。  相似文献

为了克服降水强夯法处理深度小、降水时间长的缺陷,结合扬中灏港通用码头软土地基处理工程,改进了传统降水强夯工艺,采用水气分离集成井降水联合强夯法进行加固处理。通过在常规真空井点降水强夯和改进降水强夯两个试验区开展现场监测和检测试验,对加固效果进行了对比评价分析,研究结果表明:水气分离集成井降水强夯工艺降水深度可达地表以下5~6 m,夯后孔压消散时间约为1~2天;地基加固后总地表施工期最大沉降量为0.606 m,可有效减小工后沉降;与常规井点降水强夯法相比,改进法加固后土体强度和地基承载力均有较大提高,地基加固效果优势明显。  相似文献

A provocation?…?the minds of my generation of organizational theorists are haunted by the spectre of scientific discourse, shoehorned into dry genres, bullied by audit regimes that try to wring the passion out of thought. Without gaiety, the science that calls us has no exuberance, it cannot dance. What are the possibilities for writing about organizations that allows the heart's instincts to be followed, the vast possibilities of expression to be explored and enjoyed? I explore this through a form of writing known as fictocriticism – a writing engaged in genre-bending as a literary and theoretical engagement with existence and selfhood. Why import this term into organization studies? Might fictocriticism have some value to ‘us’ who locate ourselves here? I am engaging in a form of romance; a courtship of ideas from elsewhere. What might result from this union is not clear, but it offers hope, excitement and promise.  相似文献
